25 Intense Examples of Storm Photography

Storms provide great subject matter for photography, as they capture some of natures most intense and extreme moments. Storms often involve fantastic lighting, huge shadows, and a massive scale of energy. They have the ability to make us feel very small in relation to the world, so it can be very difficult to capture this greatness in a photograph. However, the following 25 examples do just that! Each of these photos has something special to offer, and I hope that they inspire you in your work today.

Pretty In Pink: 25 Creative Websites That Make You Think Pink

Trends come and go but one that I have yet to see fade out is the color pink. It’s had its high times where almost everyone was using it, but lately we’ve seen it taper off from the forefront of the design trends in web-design. Some might still think that it’s overused, but I personally like seeing it used in creative ways.

Some people might argue that every design trend has been overdone (can we say 3D corners or apple-esque designs?). Regardless of what the current design trends are, you have to admit that the sites below utilized the color pink in very creative ways. I have separated the designs into subtle use and excessive use (you’ll see, excessive is good sometimes). Let us know in the comments which style you like better and what your favorite pink colored websites are.

Don’t forget that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month where people from all over the world change their website designs to add some pink to support the cause.

I hate pink! For a good cause though, so I won’t object too much.

@Heather: hehe I guess pink is kind of an acquired taste. You do use some pink on your own site in your nav bar and links though :)

#Twitter Will Soon Be Available in More Languages

The Twitter Blog has announced  that pretty soon, the 140-character limits of Tweets will now be available in French, Italian, German, and Spanish. This is in addition to the current language supported by Twitter – English and Japanese.

The new languages will be fully  supported as soon as Twitter gets more competent volunteers who will help Twitter in translating the site.  Twitter is also promising that more languages will be supported as soon as they have finished working with the FIGS languages.

Twitter will also be sending the translations to third-party platform developers to enable them to offer multiple language support in their Twitter applications.

Although a little late in the game when it comes to multi-language support, Twitter is still hoping that making Twitter available in multiple language would encourage more users especially those who still prefer to communicate online using their native languages. And besides, other social media sites are doing it, so why can’t they?
